HOW TO HAVE A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

HAVING A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

5 POINTS IN HAVING A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

  1. Make a decision that you will Seek God. Read and study the Word of God. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him: He will not resent it (James 4:8A KJV & James 1:5 TLB).
  1. Prepare yourself to spend time with God alone. Meditate on His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you and ask God the “What, Why, When, and How.”  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman, who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV).
  1. Be still/quiet, and anchored in the presence of God, and listen and be sensitive. Value the Holy Spirit, so You will be able to hear His voice. He will help you know what to say in each situation. Value what the Holy Spirit is saying and write down what God says (the word, words, or scripture He gives you) (Psalm 46:10 KJV).
  1. Stay In faith and trust God for the results. The Word of God does not return void. Even if they seem indifferent to you, even if it appears the Word had no effect, keep believing. Your faith will keep that Word alive inside you, and eventually, it will do its transforming. Rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return until they have watered the ground. Then, the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat. [11] In the same way, my words leave my mouth, and they do not come back without results. My words make the things happen that I want to happen. They succeed in doing what I send them to do (Isaiah 55:10-11 ERV).
  1. GUARD YOUR MOUTH, HEART, EYES, EARS, YOUR SPIRIT AND BE ACCOUNTABLE AND STAY CONNECTED! (Proverbs 4:21, 23 KJV, Mark 4:24-25 KJV, Proverbs 3:5 KJV, Proverbs 13:20 KJV, 1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV, Hebrews 4:13-16 KJV & Romans 14:12 KJV).
