Early Morning Word Regarding Love 2/1/2016
I have a heart for and desire to see marriages flourish. Please use each day to be there for each other, spend quality time together, and have a discussion with your mate face-to-face. If you are out there on Facebook blogging, posting, or spending more time on Facebook more than you are having FACE-TO-FACE time with your spouse, and everyone and everything has higher priority than your spouse, then you need to check yourself.
Marriage is good, and you need to respect your spouse and love them with all that you have within your heart, next to God. We need to consistently and intentionally Honor and Agape our spouse!
Be intentional about your love for them as God is intentional about His love for us.
It is not about who is right or wrong. It is about pleasing God in this situation. The only thing God is going to ask you when you see Him face to face is, what did you do on your part? What could you have done? He is concerned about what you are doing in what He is asking you to do in that situation.
Life is so short, and the enemy loves division and hates marriages. Why? Because marriage is a reflection and illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. So, spend excellent quality time with your mate and do all you know to do so, with the help of God, to love each other intentionally, unconditionally, the way the Father God loves us. And give yourself to each other. That is Love, that’s Unconditional Love. Ephesians 5:21-33
And let me say this, enjoy the gift of life and the gift of your spouse, the gift of family that God has blessed and given to you! Steward the gift God has entrusted to you. Live each day purposefully to love God and one another. Next to God, just love them with all your heart, soul, and spirit. Then your family that He has blessed you with and then godly friends that he has blessed you with, not just mere acquaintances. Because God has blessed us with good friends as well. Also, love people!
Always be willing to serve with a pure heart and unconditionally. I can share this because I was married for 38 years before my late husband transitioned to glory. I cannot redeem the times or go back, sit here, and talk about “I wish I could have should have would have done some things.” Seize each moment to love and be a blessing to each other with every breath and opportunity.
I believe in my heart that God has graced me and given me the wisdom to share concerning marriage. I don’t know it all, but I do know this Love is Powerful! Just think about what Jesus did for us by showing His love to all humanity!!! WOW! AMAZING LOVE!
Let the love of God rule in your heart. Let the Love of God rule in every area, decision, thoughts, and every day in your home and your relationships. (1 Corinthians 16:14 )
Let love and allow love to be the foundation of all that you say and do. Let the love of God be your purpose and reason for what you do and why you do it. It is all about the Agape, Unfeigned, and Unconditional Love of God that is in your heart. That is the only way you are going to make it. You will need God’s help. So, just cry out to God! He knows you. Just ask Him for His strength and His wisdom. Then allow God to build character in you.
