Do you want the words you just spoke to come to pass!
Did you say, I feel like I am dying? Or I do not have any money. How about, my kids are so bad! Or I cannot do this.
If you do not really mean it, then stop, and correct yourself immediately. Replace those negative words with what The Word of God said about the situation and thank God and give Him praise. When we follow Christ, we have better uses for language. Do not talk negative or silly. That kind of talk does not fit our style. Thanksgiving is our dialect (Ephesians 5:4).
Ask God to help you set a watch over your mouth and your heart (Psalm 141:3). Remember, Death and Life are in the POWER OF YOUR TONGUE! “Those who love to talk will suffer the consequences. Men have died for saying the wrong thing!” (Proverbs 18:21 NLT) In Matthew 18:18, it reads, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Remember the old song by the Dramatics, “What Cha See Is Whatcha Get.” Think Before You Speak! (Proverbs 16:23 GNT)
The truth is what you say and say consistently is what you will Definitely Have and Become. Be intentional with every word that comes out of your mouth, IT MATTTERS.
